Southern Ocean Smoked Salmon Tacos

Tacos are a great way of showcasing smoked salmon.

  • 100g Southern Ocean Smoked Salmon Slices
  • 8 crisp taco shells, warmed in oven
  • 1/2 iceberg lettuce, shredded finely
  • ½ red onion, finely sliced
  • 1 avocado peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup fresh coriander, chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, halved and sliced
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 150g sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons freshly chopped herbs such as parsley, chives, dill or basil
  • ½ lemon, juice of
  • To serve, fresh coriander sprigs


Place a little shredded lettuce in the bottom of each taco shell. Sprinkle with a little chopped coriander.

Layer the tomato, red onion, avocado and Regal Smoked Salmon Slices.

Finish the top with some sour cream and coriander sprigs.

Variation: Sprinkle a little chilli powder on the salmon and avocado, or dress with sweet chilli sauce to heat things up a bit. Add any condiment, like picallili or even beetroot relish to give the salmon salad combo a real lift.
